Clipper PRO2A from you. I just wanted to let you know that it’s working
great! Even without the clipper activated, the electret mic is a big
improvement. I have two MH-31 mics. I put the RF clipper in one and
took them both to the park for some QRP portable A/B mic testing. Both
stations said the mic with the RF clipper was much better. The first guy I
contacted said, “Whatever you just did, don’t change it. You audio now
sounds great!”. I didn’t have any problems with the install. I
really like the all surface mount design too. It makes it really
small. I noticed you’re not selling anymore on eBay. Too much of a
hassle? Not worth it? I think with the right ad, you could sell a
bunch. Also, it’s a good time because for some reason, DF4ZS’s website has
disappeared. It’s been gone for a few weeks now. He makes/made a
popular RF clipper. Another place to sell would be on qrz.com. They have a sub board for Ham Made Gear.

By the way... I made a contact with Russia, RO9O, today from my QTH
in Anaheim, CA on 15 meters. QRP 5 watts with my FT-817ND and a dipole in
the trees! (and my RF Clipper PRO2A!) It was a strange contact. RO9O
was working the pile up and I could hear a bunch of east coast US stations
contacting him. Nobody from California was making contacts. After
about 10 calls, I gave up and was just listening to the pile up. After
about three minutes, the east coast just disappeared!?! RO9O said QRZ and
nobody called even through there were 20+ callers before his last contact.
RO90 called QRZ again and I picked up the mic and said my callsign. I was
so surprised when he called me back! He had no problem getting my call
sign. After our quick QSO the east coast pile up mysteriously
returned.
